Roller Derby 101

Are you at least 16 years of age and interested in playing derby? Don't know where to start? We've got you covered. As with any sport you have to work from the ground up. Our veteran trainers will teach you everything you need to know to start playing derby such as; basic skating techniques, how to be safe and prevent injury, and last but not least game play! Our program runs 20 weeks, practicing twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Our next recruitment session starts January 2020!

Every July after our newest skaters have passed their skills tests participate in The Fresh and Furious, an annual tournament hosted by Hogtown Roller Derby in Toronto, ON. This tournament is open exclusively to skaters who have been skating less than a year. 

This past July our newest skaters took on FnF along side six other skaters from Niagara Roller Derby & Lansing Derby Vixens and made it through four rounds of game play. Here are a few highlights from the tournament. Photos from Jammer Line:
